Terms of Service

1. The Service

Inessio is an AI-powered platform for creating and listening to audio stories. The service is provided by Inessio ("we", "us", "our"). We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue the service in whole or in part with 30 days’ written notice via email or in-app notification.

2. Your Account

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. Users under 18 require parental consent.

• You are responsible for keeping your password and login credentials secure.
• You may not share your account with other persons.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms.

3. Content and Copyright

You retain any rights you have in the material that you provide to Inessio. Inessio does not claim ownership of content generated for you through the service. To the extent any rights arise in content generated for you through Inessio, and to the extent legally possible, you may use that content in accordance with these terms.

You grant Inessio a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce, process, display and distribute your content within the platform, including through service providers, to the extent necessary to provide, operate, and moderate the service.

You may not use Inessio to create content that is:

• Illegal under Swedish or international law
• Violent, threatening, or hateful
• Sexually explicit or pornographic
• Offensive to individuals or groups
• Misleading, fraudulent, or harmful
• Infringing on others’ copyright or intellectual property rights

We reserve the right to review, moderate, and remove content that violates these rules without prior notice.

4. AI-Generated Content

Inessio uses artificial intelligence to generate stories and audio. AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, and we do not guarantee that it is free from errors, biases, or inappropriate material. You as the user bear legal responsibility for how you use and share AI-generated content.

5. Subscription, Payment and Refund Policy

Inessio offers free trials and paid subscriptions (Plus and Premium).

• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
• You can manage your subscription (cancel, reactivate, or update your payment method) at any time on the website at inessio.com/prenumeration.
• Upon cancellation, you retain access to paid features until the end of the current billing period.
• Prices may change with 30 days’ written notice.
• If you are a consumer, you generally have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days from the date of purchase. If you request immediate access to paid features, credits or digital content during the withdrawal period, you agree that access and delivery may begin immediately. For digital content made available immediately, you acknowledge that you may lose your right of withdrawal once delivery has begun, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

6. Credits and Usage

Certain features in Inessio require credits. Credits included in your plan reset monthly. Purchased top-up credits do not expire. Unused plan credits do not carry over to the next period. We reserve the right to change credit costs with prior notice.

7. Sharing and Community

When you share stories publicly in the community, you agree that other users can listen to them. You can make a story private again at any time. You are responsible for ensuring that all content you share complies with these terms and applicable law.

8. Limitation of Liability

Inessio is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect losses, loss of profit or other consequential damages resulting from the use of the service. To the extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid to us in the last 12 months.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time via settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your personal data is deleted in accordance with our privacy policy, but we may retain anonymized data for statistical purposes.

10. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

These terms are governed by Swedish law. Any disputes shall first be resolved through negotiation. If unsuccessful, the dispute shall be settled by Swedish general courts. As a consumer, you always have the right to contact the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN).

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified via email or in the app at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
